Prepared for the World Travel & Tourism Council by ANIMONDIAL, this report explains the nature and scale of the international wildlife trade, how it can undermine Travel & Tourism, and how the sector can still unknowingly encourage and facilitate it. Aligned with the Buenos Aires Declaration (WTTC, 2018) it provides clear and actionable recommendations for travel agents, tour operators, and accommodation and transport providers to commit to tackling the International Wildlife Trade and help ensure the long-term sustainability of wildlife tourism and its associated benefits.
