Gibraltar embarks on Nature Positive Tourism Pilot

The Gibraltar Tourist Board and Department of the Environment, in partnership with ANIMONDIAL, recently announced the launch of the Gibraltar Nature Positive Tourism (GNPT) pilot project. This initiative will explore how Gibraltar can continue to develop its tourism sector while protecting and enhancing the natural environment on which the destination depends. It also provides a guiding example of how national authorities for tourism and the environment can collaborate to for the benefit of both sectors by aligning policies, enhancing synergies and co-developing an integrated approach to Nature Positive Tourism.
